Help! I am very new to the 'family tree' scene and I'm having alot of trouble locating GRO ref's. Can anyone give me a hint to what they look like or the easiest place to find them?

You will find the references on the 1837online website which shows all birth, death and marriages since 1837. You will also find some but not all on the freebmd site which there is a link to from this page. Good luck Stephen
