Hi Tomorrow I should be going to my Local Library where they hold MI's for many churches in Warwickshire,Worcestershire and Staffordshire. If you send me the details direct I'll try and do a lookup. George

If you give the cemetary a ring and give them the date of interment then they might be able to give you the exact date of death which you can quote when applying for the certificate but I think the best thing is to look in the GRO indexes and give that reference as that is what they usually go by. Branwood End would also be able to give the location of a grave with the information that you have. They were really helpful to me when I asked about my grandad. Heres the address and phone no in case you want them. Woodthorpe Road Kings Heath Birmingham B14 6EQ Tel: 0121 444 1328 Best wishes Karen

A dear relative has very kindly sent me a copy of a Grant Of Exclusive Right Of Burial showing the deed no. as 715 and the interment as 11/07/1915 at Birmingham City Cemetery, Brandwood End. Do I apply to Birmingham for a copy of the death certificate and do I have to quote any of the above info to aid them with the find or is it irrelevant as it was after the event. Sorry if it all sounds a bit morbid! Best wishes Helen, Berkshire
