I believe i have found my gtgtgrandfather alive in 1901, but there seems to be no trace of him previously. His daughter was born in 1872 and she married in 1893. His name was John Donovan, born 1850 in Grays, Essex and living in Kensington in 1901 also widowed and a carpenter in 1901 and 1893. If there are any good detectives out there that could try and find him i would be most grateful. Thanks in advance.

I'm having simular problems. I am looking for a Charles Starkey who was on the 1881 census and the 1901 census but seems to be missing on the 1891 census. His family moved to Yorkshire from warwickshire and i know he got married in 1899 in Derbyshire. Jessica
