On one marriage certificate it states the occupation of the father Joshua Daulby as "artist". I'd quite like to find out some more info on him. Has anyone got any suggestions about how I could follow this up?

There is a Yorkshire artist callled David Dalby,b 1794, he painted horses mostly, could this be a connection? Regards Maxine (If he was not a "recognised" artist you may get some luck through local libraries or art societies)
