I'm having trouble trying to find a marriage date for George Chadwick B.1860 and Annie Maria (or Anne Maria) Scott B.1862 both born in Manchester I know the wife died in 1936 but I dont know when George died. Can anyone help? Thanks Wendy |

Have you tried looking on the 1837 site at all? The marriage will be there - if you have details of the children's bates of birth you might be able to guestimate a start date forsearching the marriage index. Graham |

Wendy Any chance that George was also known as Jesse? Jesse Chadwick Married Maria Scott in 1883 in Salford, references 8d 116. Other than that I can't find any tie ups between 1880 and 1900. Isn't this fun ?????? Mike |

Lynne, Go to Links on the left, you may get some luck with FreeBMD which will give births from 1837 to around 1902+. If not you can register with 1837 online for £5. The LDS site familysearch.org can be of use for baptisms etc. Hope this helps. Marion |
