Please can anyone help,I've only recently started to research my family tree, have had moderate success.I know of 1901 and 1881 census sites but are there others?.Not keen to give credit card details out,do they use voucher system like 1901 site?.Many of my ancestors are Irish, and military serving in Ireland, don't have great date details either, feel I hve hit brick wall. Can anyone advise me please.I feel so ignorant when I read how much knowledge you people have acquired. Many thanks,Elaine

Elaine, You might find something useful on military records on the following site which was posted earlier today by Jude net/~wee-monster/military(.)html. I'm sure someone else will keep you right on the census sites as I have only used the Scottish ones. Good Luck Regards Margaret

Hi Elaine, Go to the links page and at the bottom you will see census finder. That's pretty good for Ireland, however at present there is no info for Cavan. Also try www(.)youririshroots(.)com scripts(.)ireland(.)com & www(.)from(-)ireland(.)net Laurie
