Has anyone details on this Co-op Society, which I assume was either the precursor to the Labour Party in Gillingham, Kent or amalgamated with the said party.My great grandfather was founder and First President of the society and on his death a large memorial was raised to him, after a very elaborate funeral. Where the memorial is, is a question mark.
