If you are trying to find a name that isn't on your tree yet, add a a dummy name with that surname to your tree to enable you to add the entry onto the Trying to find board. You can always delete it later. Regards Maxine

You can add a "Trying to Find" from either "Your Names" or "Name Summary". You don't need to be a member to do this. Crista

John & Crista A little adjustment To add a message to the “Trying To Find” board go to the “Your Names” section, click “View Entire Site” against the corresponding surname and click “Trying To Find” from the that page, OR use the Guest Message Board if you are not a member. Vera Manchester LAN

John, You need to have the surname in your tree. Then go to "Name Summary" and click on the surname. You will see a link from there. Crista
