Does anyone know where I would go to see the Belfast electoral registers for the years 1930 to 34? I have been told by the Public records office in Belfast that their electoral register records start from 1937 and Belfast City Council do not hold any. |

According to my handbook on PRONI they should hold electoral registers (though not complete) from 19th century to 1940s in their Crown and Peace archive. From 1960s until early 1990s records are located in the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, St Anne's House, Church Street, Belfast - Phone 028 90245353. Hopes this helps. |
