My great grandfather died on 3.12.1894 and was buried in Melbourne Australia. Does anyone know how i could trace this information and find out where he is buried - online preferably! Thanks Alison

Hi Alison What was his name? I can do a search from here, or alternatively, try interment(.)net (remove brackets) Let me know! regards Di Sydney

Thanks Di, His name was Frederick Chipperton and he died on 3rd December 1897. I have his DOB as 20.2.1857 in London but there is no record of this anywhere. My Uncle gave me this date of death but i cannot confirm whether it is correct from here. He actually emigrated to Australia after marriage. After his death his wife (Mary Ann Cooper) returned to Britain where she died in 1897. Thank you for any assistance that you can give Alison
