Does anybody have any suggestions for Naval missions referred to as 'Chinese Navy'? An elderly relation of mine recalls this as a description of her father-in-law's missions while in the British Navy. |

Don't know if this is of any help. My uncle in the Royal Navy served in "China Stations". I think this was in late 1920's - 1930's but not sure of dates. I believe it referred to a permanent Royal Navy 'presence' in and around China. Kathleen |

Many thanks, Kathleen. At least it makes a bit of sense to me now! Linda. |

Thank you William. Every little bit helps as I am trying to ascertain a 'latest date' in the life of a Royal Naval member. Unfortunately, as yet, I don't have any dates for him! |
