Hi Yes it is in Oxfordshire - I've got rellies there in late 1880's and into the 1900's. My Gr Gr Nan lived in London and had an illegitimate daughter, my Gr Nan and then we've only recently found out she married someone who came from Cogges which is where they then set up home - she then went on to have a whole load of kids which Gr Nan didn't know about! |

Hi Stephen Just found your thread. Cogges is indeed in Witney. It now also comprises of a large housing estate but the Cogges Farm Museum is still present and very active. The Church (St Marys) is also still active. Try googling Parish of St Mary Cogges. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Julie |
