First of all, thanks to everyone who contributes to the tips board, I've learnt about websites that have been of great help to me. Now for my question, does anyone know what is really meant by the terms 'second cousins, third cousins' etc. and 'cousins once removed, twice removed etc.? Thanks Jeannie, Javea, Spain. |

Jeannie, Once removed means a generation away. This chart explains all. http://members.tripod(.)com/Phil_N_S/Rc.htm Crista |

Crista, Thanks very much for the info. This will settle an ongoing family disagreement regarding these terms for me. Jeannie |

Many thanks, I asked a similar question several days ago, several pages went missing for a couple of days and it never got answered. I now have to work out from the diagram the relationship I am trying to solve. |
