I have a copy of one of these orders made out to a Hannah Newlove in 1818. I think she was my Gx2 Grandmother. The order gives very little detail other than date and names of the parties. Is there any way of getting more info? Paul

Paul - dont know if this helps, I looked in Ancestral Trails and it says.. recognizances - sureties or bonds that someone would keep the peace or attend the next sessions. Sue
