Dear Diane, My husbands great granfather was Peter Corstorphine b c1830 and married Marion Taylor?. Not sure where they came from but he lived in Pimlico London in the middle to late 1800s. However, his daughter Eliza Cadyzien Corstorphine, is rumoured to have been a Nanny in Edinburgh Castle. Any info would be appreciated. Regards Jean

As a matter of interest, I have a comprehensive history of Corstorphine from 1659. The information has been compiled from Parish records, personal findings, co-operative records and ordinance survey. Anyone looking for ancstors from this area would benefit from some of the diverse info I have. regards Di
