Thanks Lisa, i've just been back to 1901 for another squizz. First time round I only got 4 matches, this time I got 72, can't think what I did that was different. It's the folk living at the No's 1 to 4 MAYFIELD that i'm interested in and yes I ran out of credit too.

Hi I ahve found on the 1901 census. 1 The barracks, occupied in East Sussex. Civil Parish: Heathfield Ecclesiastical Parish: Heathfield All Saints Paliamentary Borough: Eastbourne These records follow on from one another, 1, 2, and 3. There are also some other barracks on there. I dont have any credits to look up who lived in the place at that time. I found the barraks by searching the addresses for Barraks and Sussex. Hope that helps.

Could some kind person have a look in 1901 for me - under Barracks for house name and Sussex, in place search, i've got No's 2, 3, and 4, Barracks and No1.The Barracks coming up on a page of 4 results I'm looking for whomever was living there at the time. I've put in permutaions of the surname I want and i'm getting zilch!! My Gran and Granpa lived at one of them in 1903. Many thanks Sue.
