Yeas, The image is in order of households. So you will be able to see your ancestors neighbours also.

Gary How do you see who lives nearby? Are they on the same image? Lynne

Thanks Margaret and Andrea Now I know I can view the whole household by clicking on image I will do that instead of paying 50p twice (for the individual and the household). Think of all the 25p's I've wasted!!! Lynne

I always go for the image of the census sheet because there are so many typo's. My maternal grandfather on aS MONLAND not MOULAND and my great uncle's family as BURYER not BURGESS. Only be checking the census page can you be sure, you also get the advantage of seeing who lived near by and they might be connected. Gary

Yes!! I posted a note on here a few days ago to tell everyone this as I made the same mistake. 50p just gives you that single person's details. 75p gives you the whole household (inc. address that they were living at!). The 75p option is the image of the register so sometimes the writing is a bit hard to read, but I have managed fine so far. Well worth the extra 25p!!

Lynne Yes, if you view the image you get the whole household with one exception, if the household goes over onto the next page then you will be charged another 75p. I always view the image. I would rather look for myself than trust some of the transcriptions. I have found some amazing mistakes in names and places. Margaret

I have always viewed the person's details then viewed the rest of the household which costs 50p each. If I view the image, do I get the whole household for 75p? Lynne sale CHS
