yes i found walter but it says he was living with his sister and niece in london and that he was single

Dawn, Have you tried looking for Walter on the 1901 census, Maisie wont be born, but you could find her father and pos mother if they are already married, and track her back from them? Pam

Dawn Could her father have been in the army? I spent 6 months looking for my great-grandmothers details then realised army births were listed separately. Hope this helps.

Dawn Could Maisie be a nickname? I've just looked on 1837 and found a Frances Maskrey March Qtr Wolstanton 6b 152. Don't know where this is but will have another look for you later if this is not the one. Lynne

hi Dawn I have been looking for my husbands g.grandfather he was known as Thomas Percy Norton, he turned out to be Percy Fredrick Thomas Eke!! good luck Meryl

i have tried everything she was known to us as MAISIE MASKREY that was her maiden name, on marrieage license it says father Walter maisie was said to have been from sheffield and supposed to have been born in 1906

can someone give me any reasons why someones birth would not be registered. The year was 1906 and i cant find a birth certificate for my grandmother, nor can the GRO.
