Meryl there are several things you can do...if you give some details from the certificate it will be easier to advise you. Name, birth date, fathers name and mothers's maiden name. Sue

I have got birth certificate of husbands Grandfather which has name of his father how do I go about searching for him when I dont know where or when born? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Meryl
