can anyone tell me where Barrow is in England,or is there more than one? or is ther a site where you can check out where a town ect. could be. thanks to anyone who can help.

There's Barrow in Furness, er... Lancs. I think. And yes there is a website - I have seen it on previous messages- but alas cannot remember it. Someone I am sure will help. There are probably several other 'Barrows' too. Rosi Colchester ESS

Julie, I believe there is also a Barrow in Leicestershire and Suffolk and Shropshire. Beryl, Darlington DUR.

GENUKI has a list of registration districts and all the places in each. Go to http(://)www.fhsc.org.uk(/)genuki(/)reg(/) If you can't find what you are looking for, try the GENUKI search engine - I've found places which weren't on the pages from the link above because they were "ancient parishes" (or something like that"). Good luck

Me again - sorry, forgot to say - Barrow on Soar is a district in Leicestershire.
