I am tracing my dads tree, and i dont have all the information. I have tried the census but it doesn't seem to find any 'McGouldrick' surnames. Can anyone suggest a website or something on this site I could try. I think the family orignates in Scotland although some of them moved to Ireland

If you use this site and the links page see bottom left hand side of this page. Go to the Later day Saints site and there are a few McGouldricks listed. Good luck Stephen

Sometimes we overlook the simple answers. Have you tried typing the surname into a Search Engine like Jeeves or Google? Good luck, Jim, Gosport, HAM

Hi there Apologies if I'm suggesting something you have already tried. Have you tried variations on the family name (census takers often got them wrong) like Mac instead of Mc, or McG*? It may throw something up. Regards Maxine
