hi just having a sneaky look at my practical family history magazine before i start work and there is an article on old deeds and documents of title for property. i have worked in a law firm for the majority of my working life and have a number of these documents (leases, mortgages, conveyances), if remember correctly at least one goes back to the early 1800's. is there anywhere i can list these to see if a copy of them can be of any use to any one (i rescued them from the potential bin about 15 years ago) heather ps if this is on the wrong board please tell me and i'll move it.
