On my family tree I have now recorded my grandfathers second marriage. That was easy enough to do but I need to put my grandfather on again above this insertion because he was married previously. He had children from both marriages which I also need to record. It may be quite easy but can anyone please explain how I add it. Thank you in anticipation of your help. Roy Harris

Hi Roy, Still new to this myself but I believe that if you want to enter another marriage you enter it as 'add another partner' Whilst in your grandfather details(your names, then click on immediate family at the end of your grandfathers name). When you add the children for the second marriage add them whilst you have the wife's details on the screen using add a child. Hope this makes some sense to you Tracy

Hi Tracy. Thanks for your help, whilst I was waiting for someone to help me out I just had a thought. If I was to add a partner the position on the tree would probably be a sideways position. I think if I use add father it will go into the position I want which will be directly above the second marriage, then I can add his wifes details. Here goes so watch for a reply. Roy Harris.

Hi Tracy, you were correct by adding a partner, and the addition did go sidesways on the tree. Unfortunately another problem has arisen. On the ancestors page the information has not appeared so I am back at square one again. CAN ANYONE HELP? AS I CAN'T PROCEED WITH THIS TREE. MY INFORMATION GOES BACK TO 1819.
