Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 307 Send Message	After a hard day i`ve managed to get onto the 1837 online site.This might sound like a silly question to a lot of you but when viewing the pages,is that all the info there is to view or can i go further if i find an interesting name and look at dates.I seem to be asking a lot of questions but i`m learning.I´m so pleased there are all of you out there to help. Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 2,483 Send Message	Julie The info on 1837 is all you need to get the certificate, ie: name, year, quarter, Area, number (eg: 8d) and page. The above details need to be quoted when requesting a certificate. Hope this helps. Lynne Sale

Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 4,377 Send Message	You can get certificates from local register offices without having the numbers and they are only £7. I have ordered quite a few this way and they only need the bare minimum details and most are very helpful. Maggy
