Julie Its not that the 1901 census is incomplete, its because of the errors and restricted numbers it will display. I finally found my mothers family input as Monland not Mouland. I still have not traced my great aunt Charlotte Burgess. She is in the 1881 and 1891 censi but has disappeared come 1901 with no trace of her death or marriage on FreeBMD. She would be 30 probably married and living somewhere else in the UK. But I cannot search on just Charlotte and putting in her birthplace or county does not help. So what I am saying is that the information is in there somewhere its just a case of getting the right question. Regards Gary

Julie I have just been to the 1901 census, and think I have found your ggrandmother. If you type in her surname the way you spelt it and put female nothing else, then search, and it came up with Kath Huebscher, Born Germany living in London aged 38. hope this helps you. Debbie
