I think one of David Niven's (the Actor) sisters was called Grizel, possibly Scots in origin.

Hi. Possibly short for Grizelda as in fairy tales? And no reason whatsoever why it couldn't be Grace - we can all call ourselves and be known as whatever we wish. I have been aka Rosi for many years now even on electorals and census's etc.

Has anyone come accross the christian name GRIZEL (found various spellings) - could it be known as GRACE? Thank you.
