	Anyone researching in Portsmouth should free up a day to spend in Portsmouth Central Library. ........................................ They have a huge genealogy section spanning almost a whole floor of the building. ........................................ You only need a library card, and thy sign you in/out. ........................................ You can search: ........................................ Microfiche Births, Marriages, Deaths. Parish Records Microfiche and internet Census returns Maps and topographical info Kelly's Directories Lots of Navy/maritime records more ........................................ It's all free of charge and the staff there will help you out if you get stuck! ........................................
