I have just found a clipping in my late grandmothers papers From the Staffordshire advertiser 1895 which states that a Michael Dorricott was hanged for murder in Stafford in 1796 does anyone out there know how I can find more information on this, its seems likely that he was related in some way as the clipping was before my grandmother was born and she must have saved it for some reason. Theres a large Derricott/Dorricutt/Daddicott family tree online but he doesnt appear in this and he hasnt turned up in my research. (I thought I had this branch of my tree finished!!!!)

THE ONLY MICHEAL I CAN FIND THAT WILL MATCH IS MICHAEL DORRICOTT SON OF RICHARD DORRICOTT AND SARAH DORRICOTT HE WAS BORN ALBERBURY SHROPSHIRE AND CHRISTEND 5/5/1771 THAT WOULD MAKE HIM ABOUT 25 DOES IT GIVE ANY DETAIL PETE
