I need some help please! I have the marriage certificate for my great grandparents - but cannot find my ggmother's birth on FreeBMD. There are two people of the same name & age listed on the 1881 census - unfortunately both residing with friends/relatives at the time of the 1881 census so although I have the father's christian name I cannot match father & daughter (if you get my drift!). The 1901 census does not help much either so I would be very greatful for any suggestions as to how to find out more about her & her parents please. I am reluctant to request a birth certificate as I don't feel that I have enough information.... (for info: Emily Skeggs aged 28 in Feb 1903 - hence born 1875 - father's name on marriage certificate is John) Thank you
