HELP!! I've just spent an hour and a half searching on 1837 for the birth of my great grandfather John Michael Humphreys who married Alice Owen in 1891 (aged 20). His father was Patrick Humphreys. I have also tried FreeBMD and the LDS but cannot find any trace of him. Neither can I find Alice Owen, aged 21 on Marriage Cert, Father Joseph Thomas Owen. I have found all of Alice's siblings. Then only Alice I can find has different parents (I have the birth certificate). Can anyone advise me where else I can look for these two birth records? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am going round in circles and need a stiff drink!! Lynne Sale |
