Hi Lynne Thanks for the reply. I believe freebmd stop at 1900. Is that correct? I was trying to find my grandfather and grandmothers marriage certificate, whose names I have. I know my mother was born in 1916 so I assume my g/parents were born before 1900, even if only just. What I don't know is WHERE they were married. I know SHE was Scottish so I have a nasty feeling they'd be married in Scotland and freebmd doesn't cover Scotland does it? Is there an equivalent for Scotland (ie a free site?) The ones I've seen so far are all pay sites.
