Dawn - do you mean where do you start researching? start with the family closest to you - take copies of birth\marriage\death certificates - ask the older members of the family to recall their childhood memories of various relatives and the places in which they lived, you will be surprised at how quickly the initial tree will grow - any old diaries or photos lurking around will be helpful (or address books) hope this is of some help Heather Bournemouth Dorset
