Suzanne Paris & Philippa Williams I am a member of the Federation of Family History Societies. They are all over the country,it only costs £9 per year to join. We meet once a month and there is usually a speaker, but there is always someone on hand to help and suggest where to look for information. They have just launched this site, www.FAMILYHISTORYONLINE. (1891 CENSUS)There is no registration fee, but you do have to quote your membership number, then it lists you names (stating where the information is held i.e.1891 census or county burial records etc.) free and you have to pay if you want to know more about that person. Some of the charges are only 5p some 10p its reasonably cheap compared to other sites. But like other sites they are updating the records all the time.
