AMANDA CARR re 1891 Census on CD I have the one for Lancashire and the only searchable index is the Street Index. The name Index is in the process of being done by volunteers. The Family Tree Magazine has a few suppliers like Stepping Stones, S&N Genealogy Supplies and British Data Archive Ltd. I have found names on them but you have to search and read each page of the area you are searching, which does take time. Also there are pages that have not been copied too well and are unreadable. On the whole I think it is worth it if you have a lot oa ancestors in that County and it is better to be able to search at your pace in your own home, instead of having to travel.
