I have been looking for a record of my husbands sister born around 1939 give or take a couple of years so could be 1938 1941 believe her name to be Stephanie Jane Green, mother was Grace Sylvia Green DOB 1923 in Eastergate West Sussex, although Stephanie may not be correct. Baby Girl green was also born in Eastergate West Sussex and so far we have been unable to trace any record of her birth, Has anyone any other ideas? Thank you

Hi Linda. Only 1 Stephanie Green in 1939 and mothers maiden name was not Green. Where have you got your info from, you could contact the agency that arranged the adoption, the other thing would be to go through all female Greens born around that time and try to match up the area and the mothers maiden name as Green Good Luck there are soo many :O( Sheila
