Today while searching endlessly for my elusive rellies in the 1841 census, i came across them by accident, what i did i just typed in first and second names and a rough year of birth and they they were in Yorkshire, when i viewed the image it said not born in county with a N like normal, but next to it and very helpfully the enumerater wrote in Lancashire, thats the first 1841 census that actually says which county they were born helped me no end. Anyone else come across this for the 41 census? Sharmala.

Lucky you in 1841 - its just so much easier following census years except when the name is mistranscribed! Janice
