It could be Pheobe I have an ancestor spelt Phebe!

It's ok As i'm going through the censuses for these rellies i've just looked at the 1861 and it's PHOEBE Martin (to busy taking in info to actually think)

Hi Martin It could have been Phoebe but the enumerator could not spell Phoebe so just put Feby. Gill

Here's the transcription of some rellies on 1871 census and would like to know what Feby is short for. I've seen the actual census sheet and it is pretty clear as Feby. What could the enumerator have thought he was writing if it wasn't feby Martin
