i can find out who buried my grandfather have been in touch with the cementry were hes buried he bought his own grave,but they dont hold any records only his address,so i phoned the undertakes but there records dont go back to 1918,so im at alost what to do next if anything,thank you joyce from holland

Who was the informant on his death cert .they may have had some input in to the funeral arrangements.

the information was alady dont have any idea who she was but he died at that address but on the cementry records his address is different

Did he leave a Will? He might have left particular instructions about his funeral. Gwyn

i dont know if he did or not i know his parents did but he died before them,how would i find is there anyway to check

Hi Joyce, another idea might be to get someone to do a look up in the local newspaper obituaries cloumn. If someone cared enough to bury him, they probably cared enough to announce it in the newspaper. Gary

thanks Gary thats athought i know it wasnt my dad as he was in australia in the army at the time,but who could i ask to have alook for me joyce

was just wondering as my grandfather was in awar grave and i know he was the owner of the grave,could it have been the army who buried him just athought joyce
