Hi Reg, If he was born 1898 and died 1940 that makes him approx 42. I will send for cert also could check and see about armed forces, do you think as it was war time. Phyllis

Death reg'n TAFT, Charles H Age 48 Cambridge 3b/1595 JFM 1940 It may be that the person who registered the death did not know his correct age.......... Reg

Charles H Taft death is registered Jan-March Quarter 1940 age at death 48 years Cambridge VOL 3B PAGE 1595 With Vol and page details you can order the death certificate for Charles Joanna

Hi everyone, 1 yes that is him. 2 Only thing shown on the record was Cambridgeshire 1940. it is the only record I have found of Charles Henry Taft since he left his wife early 1930s. No one in the family knows anything about him since then. 3 How would I get death cert if I dont have all info. Phyllis. Sorry about date Reg should be 1898

Hi Everyone, I think I have found my grandfather but could do with a little help please. I went on Familyhistory online and they came up with Cambridgeshire. That was the only one with details of him. Charles Henry Taft born 1989 derbyshire and according to records died 1940 Cambridgeshire, now find out that htere are 81 parishes. So please can you tell me how I find Him. Phyllis
