There are some threads with Irish in the title that give help. Civil registration for births began in Ireland in 1864, and the 'BMDs' can be searched at some LDS (Latter Day Saints, also known as Family History Centres); there is a thread, I believe, that gives the addresses of them and the ones that stock them or they can be ordered to be searched at your nearest LDS. Sometimes the searching for threads on here doesn't work very well. If I can't find them now, I'll try again later.

Does anyone have access to Irish birth bmd's. I have 3 relations on my tree who were born in Ireland. One I have found out through other members was born in Kildare. The births I am looking for are: Sarah E King born around 1871 and John King born around 1875. The parents names were John King and Sarah Brown. I have no idea if the parents married in Ireland, as their first daughter was born in Canada, and then they moved to Ireland and then to Woolwich, London. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
