You need to get hold of a Kellys Directory from that period or a similar publication. The local library may well hold a copy. Most libraries will do a look-up for you if it's a question as straight forward as yours. They may also get the answer from the electoral roll which they will no doubt hold. My rellies were publicans in Bermondsey, Southwark in the 1940's. I obviously know their names but not the name of the pub. Does anyone know of a website where I can match the surname to the pub please. I have searched the directories on Ancestry but the rellies must be registered under the name of the public house which I don't know.
