Hi I have had a word with mum and she said that, the marriage wasnt going too well, and gt. grandad gave £50.00 to another man to take gt. granny of his hands, so she moved away with the other man. How sad is that and its not that long ago. Ann

checked 5 yrs either side and that was all there was those three. so if age is right it has to be the bury one. have fun

She was born in 1890, so the Bury one looks about right Ann

i dont know districts, but i have found a rebecca temple, age 57, registered bury, vol 10b. page 675. apr-may-jun quarter 1948.

Oo Err I will need to ask my mum if she is sure that she died in the area where we lived. Bury is about 20 miles away. Thanks Ann

Hi Reg Yes she was, the first time of the three times I looked I looked under her birth name by mistake, I could have kicked myself for being so stupid and wasting all that time Thanks Ann

Can someone please check Ancestry for the death of Rebecca Temple, she died sometime between 1940 and 1950 she died in Haslingden district I have looked twice now but think I keep missing it Many thanks Ann
