Mac Problems

I've been a GR member for some years and have made several contacts through the site, but I do have a problem and wonder if others have found a solution to it. Ever since I started building my family tree I've had trouble adding members, when I contacted GR they said it was because I was using a mac. I suggested they made the site mac friendly, but was ignored. This year (when I am paying more for my membership) the problem is worse. It's almost impossible to add or delete anyone's details on my tree. I am currently married twice to the same husband ! I contacted them again and was told to use Firefox instead of Safari. According to a mac user I know Firefox presents other problems and is not advisable. Why should I change my browser for GR when every other genealogy site I use is mac compatible ? Isn't it time GR moved into the 21st century and gave me value for my increased membership ?
