Hi Mumsy Child I did 'google' but it was more an overview of the place that was given. I wondered if any other member had heard of the home or whether they knew of where I could get further info. Thanks again though for responding. Di

Google it. There's a whole history there. Mumsy.

Does anyone have any information about the above residence in the early 1930's please? I have just found a relative who died there aged 3 years. His death cert says, Syncope, Congenital Morbus Cardis, Mongolian Idiocy. I am assuming he was a Downs child but even though I am a nurse I wasn't aware of Downs children surviving to that age inthat time period. Di
