Does anyone know if the info on findmypast, under Deaths in the Great War is worth paying for? or is it the same as CWGC. Thanks OC&M

Thanks Gill, might give it a go. I have found who I'm looking for on CWGC but the info. is quite sparse. OC&M

If you can't find someone on the CWGC site then take a break and try again. While it's true that some casualties are missing you can often find who you are after if you review what information you have and approach from a different direction: HASLER, WILLIAM GEORGE Initials: W G Nationality: United Kingdom Rank: Gunner Regiment/Service: Royal Garrison Artillery Unit Text: 6th Siege Bty. Age: 37 Date of Death: 05/06/1917 Service No: 13661 Additional information: Son of Benjamin and Catherine Hasler, of 20, Lyons' Flats, Mandeville St., Clapton Park, London. Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead Grave/Memorial Reference: Panel 9. Memorial: YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL Denis
