I'm trying to find the death of a 'Chief Mate, Merchant Service' between 1892 and 1901. His name was Harry Whitworth Hett. I'm fairly sure he died at sea. Does anyone know if there is a web site covering this era? Many thanks Christel

Hello Reg, Yes I have tried that one, but unfortunately it only has records up to 1890. Thanks anyway Christel

Hi Gill, Thank you for that, have looked, it seems the only way of finding out is to go to Kew, nothing actually on line for the dates I need. At least I know some records exist. Thanks again Christel
