It says on Mary's bith cert 'Margaret Williams formaly Beaumont'so thats what they usually put if they're wed. Poor Magaret was giving birth about the same time as William died of bronchitis, it was a hard life then. Patricia |

Thanks Reggie I did look at Margaret Beanland but when you look at the original it does say 'Beanland' I haven't looked at the other. I've tried for a couple a marriage certs with no luck. Thanks to the help of people on the message board I have found out where they were born and I myself have found out where their children were born and even when and where william died. They seem to have had each child in a different place!! I think I shall try Bradford registry with both of the ones you found see if i'm lucky. My Grandmother when she registered the birth of one of her children Had her maiden name down as Bacon not Bateman so it does happen! Thank you Reggie |

I have been searching for years for the marriage between John Williams born 1834 Bradford East End and Margaret Beaumont born 1836 Bentham Yorkshire. In the 1861 census they are married and living with members of his family: Betty Williams 33 Sister Ester Williams 26 sister Mary Williams Daughter (born 2/9/1858 10 Carpenter Street Bradford Sarah Elizabeth Williams 1 born Oldham, Lancs on Mary's birth cert Margaret her mother's name is written Williams formaly Beaumont I hae searched ancestry, Lancs, Yorks, Cheshire BDM but I cannot find their Marriage Can some one please help? thanks in advance Patricia |
