Having gone into Ancestry and selecting Australia etc, I entered the name Bannock, and up came four results. To my knowledge, (excepting Betsy), none of them went to OZ, so why do they appear?? Derek in France

Derek They are actually British records 1851 United Kingdom Census Sample Birth, Marriage, & Death Records 3 2 England & Wales, Birth Index: 1984-2005 1 England & Wales, Death Index: 1984-2005 Chris

Ancestry always does that, it's very irritating. I don't think there are any Australia BMDs on Ancestry if that's what you were looking for, though.
