Thanks David, some lovely photos. SO many of the unknown ones are like my old family photos and I think a couple may have been taken at or by the same photographers.

I looked at some of the photos, didnt recognise anybody. I have loads of old photos, many named but a few unnamed. I would love to know who those ones are. The English relatives used to send photos to my grandmother, possibly also to her mother, in the late 19th century. They are a real treasure. I have photos of most of my gt gt grandparents.

If anybody is looking for a photograph of their ancestor, or just enjoys browsing through vintage photographs, take a look at my web site, Reminiscene, at http://www.reminiscene.co.uk. The site contains features an extensive collection of vintage postcard views of the United Kingdom and from around the world as well as Victorian and Edwardian Cartes de Visite, Cabinet Portraits and other nostalgic photographs. Some of the individuals featured in the photographs are named and it is my aim to be able to pass these to proven descendants.
