Also you can check a lot of the LDS parish records on line at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers/CountyHertford.htm#PageTitle

This lists different parishes in Hertfordshire so you can check them one by one. Although I see they don't have Hertford St Andrews marriages that early.
That's the frustrating bit. The LDS are great but there are gaps and I'm never sure how big these gaps are. If you don't live close to Hertfordshire you may need to either pay someone or ask for a favour. Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness (RAOGK)
may be able to help with a look up for you. Just google it for website.

If you don't live near Hertfordshire you can go to your nearest LDS Family History Centre (the addresses for these are on www.familysearch.org) and order filmed copies of parish registers for a couple of pounds. They will keep the film for about a month to give you time to view them.

The parish records for Hertfordshire are held at county hall in Hertford at the Hertfordshire Archives & Local Studies centre

I was stuck on a relative born 1772 in Shropshire so i got the Parish Records for Shropshire on a disc from S&N Genealogy Supplies. If you buy one for the area you want, check it covers the year you need i made a mistake the first time. Hope this helps Pamx

I know you have tried to help me but i have tried really tried, dont know where to go now. trying to find Henry carter born i think in Hertfordshire, he got married at St Andrews in Hertford to Rebekah in 1777 i think. cannot find Henry on anywhere i look i have tried bvri and other places, you told me to look at the parish records where do i find them i have tried to look and cannot find please please any ideas i am pulling my hair out.
